Finally Polestar is free to dive in with both feet and follow their ambitions, unfettered by tradition, unhindered by legacy. This is the film launching Polestar into the future, going all electric. A giant leap in automotive technology and we are super proud to be part of this wonderful development together with agency Forsman &amp; Bodenfors and Polestar!<\/p>\n<p>The story is told as a Break-up letter written to the car industry. With a goodbye to the fossil engine and welcoming the all new electric car. Polestar will never again build a fossil engine \u2013 That\u2019s the message of \u201cBreak-up letter\u201d. The launch is happening on Valentines day and is communicated through a massive worldwide campaign. It\u2019s time to show the world what the future looks like.<\/p>\n<p>We made this film using a combination of filmed ink sequences combined with 3D animation, exploring a new animation style of analogue movements paired with 3d. The process was an interesting mix of techniques, some we had to figure out ourselves and invent through a rigorous research and development process mixing different fluids and ink, and then we worked with different kind of mapping techniques bringing it all back into 3D and digital compositing to get the result we wanted.
